Nada Surf is an American alternative rock band. Formed in 1992, the New York band consists of Matthew Caws (guitar, vocals), Ira Elliot (drums, backup vocals) and Daniel Lorca (bass, backup vocals).

After more than a decade in relative obscurity, Argentina-born crooner Semino Rossi emerged as one of the biggest singing stars in Central Europe. Born in Rosario, Argentina, on May 29, 1962, Rossi arrived in Austria in 1986, working as a hotel singer. In the years to follow he spent the summer months in Spain and the winter season in Austria, eventually settling full-time in Innsbruck. There Rossi joined the Worldmasters für Lateinamerikanische Tänze in 1995, culminating in 2001 when he was crowned Weltmeister in Lateinamerikanischer Musik at the world championship in Japan. That same year Rossi signed to Universal, in 2004 releasing his first German-language LP, Alles Aus Liebe. With 2006's Ich Denk an Dich Rossi enjoyed his greatest success to date, winning the ECHO and the Amadeus Austrian Music Award.

During the summer of 2010, the Backstreet Boys joined New Kids on the Block onstage at the Radio City Music Hall (as a part of NKOTB Casi-NO Tour), where the groups performed "I Want It That Way". Since the performance, the media began to circulate rumors of the two uniting for a tour in the summer of 2011. The tour is created by Live Nation Entertainment as an outlet to reignite the boy band fad in the United States.
